Content strategy for a new homepage doubled the number of donations from the previous year

I was brought in as a freelance content strategist in late 2013 to create a homepage strategy to increase donations during the month of December. A radical redesign and 180-degree turn from their previous messaging resulted in double the number of donation they received that December over the same period the previous year.
